REQUIRED PROCEDURES

• Provide post-operative care for cardiothoracic and vascular patients.
  
• Perform emergency surgery on cardiothoracic and vascular patients.
  
• Take consults and referrals from ED, Cath Lab, and hospital providers.
  
• Assist in surgery including vein harvesting and retrieval of vascular tissues.
  
• Coordinate care, round, interpret tests, and order tests.
  
• Write prescriptions.
  

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: Board Certified in Vascular Surgery (required)
  
• Licenses: Active Ohio License (required)
  
• DEA: Active DEA Certification (required)
  
• Certifications: ACLS (required)
  
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Cardiothoracic and Vascular surgery services (required)
  
• Other Qualifications: Clean background, no malpractice or license issues
  

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive post-operative care for cardiothoracic and vascular surgery patients.
  
• Perform emergency surgery interventions for cardiothoracic and vascular patients.
  
• Manage consults and referrals from Emergency Department, Cath Lab, and other hospital providers.
  
• Assist in surgical procedures including vein harvesting and retrieval of vascular tissues for bypass conduits.
  
• Coordinate patient care, conduct rounding, interpret diagnostic tests, and order necessary tests and medications.
