What You’ll Do:
- Provide full scope OB/GYN care, including deliveries and gynecological surgeries
- Respond promptly to 24-hour on-call shifts for OB and GYN emergency coverage
- Collaborate with support staff including a dedicated MA and practice manager
- Maintain high-quality patient care in an inpatient/outpatient setting
- Support hospital efforts to ensure continuous OB/GYN coverage
What You Need:
- Active OB/GYN license in California
- Experience delivering babies and performing gynecological procedures
- Ability to respond within 20 minutes for on-call duties
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
About the Assignment:
This assignment entails OB/GYN ED call coverage at a reputable hospital located in Red Bluff, CA. The physician will provide full scope OB/GYN services during designated on-call hours, with an average of 16-20 patients per day. Deliveries fluctuate, with about 40 per month, and no NICU support is required.
