What You’ll Do
- Provide post-operative care for cardiothoracic and vascular surgery patients
- Assist in emergency surgeries and procedures
- Take referrals and consults from hospital departments including ED and Cath Lab
- Perform vein harvesting during cardiac surgeries
- Assist in surgery and help interpret test results
- Coordinate patient care and document thoroughly in Epic EMR
- Support bedside care during on-call hours and respond to emergencies
What You Need
Required:
- Valid Ohio Nurse Practitioner license
- 2+ years of experience in cardiothoracic or vascular surgery
Preferred:
- Certification in ACLS/BLS
- Experience with vein harvesting and intraoperative assistance
- Strong skill in pre/post-op patient management and emergency response
