What You’ll Do
- Provide specialized care for cardiac, vascular, and transplant patients in a high-level surgical environment
- Assist in cardiac, thoracic, vascular, and transplant surgeries while maintaining sterile techniques
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and manage post-operative care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Accurately chart procedures and patient information using EPIC system
- Maintain compliance with all hospital protocols and safety standards
- Support trauma patients in a Level I Trauma setting, providing timely, critical care as needed
What You Need
Required:
- Valid RN license in Ohio or the ability to obtain one
- BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience in cardiac, vascular, and transplant nursing
- 1 year CVOR experience
- 1 year experience in a Level I Trauma hospital
- Scrub experience for cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries
- Proficiency with EPIC charting system
Preferred:
- Experience with high-acuity surgical procedures
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
