PCU Registered Nurse – Medical Oncology & Progressive Care - Columbus, OH

- Licenses/Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NIH (required)
- Experience: 2+ years of acute care, with at least 1 year in PCU

What You’ll Do
- Provide high-quality nursing care for oncology patients in a 36-bed telemetry unit
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs
- Manage IV therapy, including PCA pumps and medication titration
- Care for chest tubes, tracheostomies, and other invasive devices
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and procedures
- Follow infection prevention protocols and patient safety guidelines
What You Need
Required:
- Valid Ohio RN license
- 2+ years of acute care experience, including 1+ year in PCU
- BCLS, ACLS, NIH certifications
- Strong skills in dysrhythmia interpretation, IV management, and patient assessment
- Ability to float within units of similar acuity
Preferred:
- Experience with oncology or chemotherapy administration
- Skills in wound care, arterial line management, and airway management
- Previous travel nursing experience
