What You’ll Do
- Provide specialized nursing care to cardiac stepdown patients on the East Tower unit
- Monitor patient status, including IVs, insulin infusions, and telemetry
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute patient care plans
- Document patient data accurately within Epic electronic health records
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations
- Float within units of equivalent or lower acuity as required
What You Need
Required:
- Active Ohio Registered Nurse license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years clinical nursing experience
- Proficiency in IV starts, telemetry, and Epic electronic health records
Preferred:
- Experience with cardiac patients and insulin GTT management
