Description
Work Dates Needed: 09/01/2026 - Ongoing; 12 shifts per month
Preferred Schedule: 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am, No Call.
Worksite Setting: Inpatient, Stroke Certified Hospital, Trauma Level II.
Scope of Work: Obstetrics and Gynecology, 5-10 patients per shift. OB/Gyn Hospitalist covering a unit with ten labor and delivery rooms, eight antepartum rooms and eighteen postpartum rooms. Unit has two dedicated ORs. Provides coverage for unassigned OB patients, patients signed out by primary OBs, and unassigned Gyn emergency department patients. Provides surgical management of c-sections, spontaneous abortions, and ovarian torsion. Assist private physicians with planned and unplanned C-sections. Oversee labor of low and high-risk OB patients. Laborist back-up and perinatology is available.
Licenses, Certifications, Requirements: Active CA license, BC/BE within 6 years of residency, ACLS, BLS, DEA.
