What You’ll Do
- Provide specialized oncology nursing care within a fast-paced clinic
- Manage a patient ratio of approximately 1:7, delivering personalized treatment
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient symptoms and respond to emergent needs
- Educate and support patients and families about treatment plans
- Document care accurately in electronic health records (Epic experience required)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
What You Need
Required:
- Active RN license in Louisiana
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience, with oncology background preferred
- Epic EMR experience
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ONS/ONCC
Preferred:
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) designation
