What You’ll Do
- Provide specialized nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with acute leukemia and hematology diagnoses.
- Monitor and interpret telemetry data, including dysrhythmias.
- Administer IV therapies, blood products, and manage central/peripheral lines.
- Use Rapid Response Teams to address patient emergencies promptly.
- Follow strict infection prevention and patient fall prevention protocols.
- Document care accurately using EPIC electronic charting.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Support newly diagnosed patients through their treatment plans and care adjustments.
What You Need
Required:
- Ohio RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience, including 1 year in PCU or similar units
- Proficiency in MS/Tele, telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, IV therapy, blood product administration, and line management
Preferred:
- ONS Chemo Certification
- NIHSS certification
