What You’ll Do
- Provide specialized chemotherapy and hematology nursing care to adult patients with acute leukemia and other hematology issues
- Administer blood products, IV therapies, and electrolytes safely
- Monitor telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias accurately
- Follow strict infection prevention protocols and patient fall prevention measures
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams via Rapid Response Teams and other protocols
- Manage central lines, PICC lines, and feeding tubes with precision
- Document patient care efficiently in EPIC electronic health records
What You Need
Required:
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- BLS, ACLS, and ONS Chemo Certification
- Minimum 2 years of inpatient hematology/oncology nursing experience
- Proficiency in telemetry, blood product administration, IV therapy, and dysrhythmia interpretation
Preferred:
- NIHSS certification
- Experience with MS/Tele and rapid response procedures
