PCU Registered Nurse – Acute Leukemia & Hematology – Columbus, OH

- Shift: Day or Night 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30 or 19:00 - 07:30)
- Hours/Week: 36 hours/week
- Employment Type: Contract/Temporary (W-2)
- Licenses/Certifications: BLS, ACLS required; ONS Chemo Cert and NIHSS preferred
- Experience: 2+ years of acute care nursing, with at least 1 year in PCU

What You’ll Do:
- Provide high-quality nursing care for adult patients with acute leukemia
- Implement infection prevention protocols and falls prevention strategies
- Monitor telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias
- Administer IV therapy, blood products, and manage central/peripheral lines
- Care for feeding tubes and manage respiratory support
- Use EPIC for computerized charting
- Collaborate with Rapid Response Teams and multidisciplinary staff
- Ensure patient safety and comfort in a fast-paced hematology unit
What You Need:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio
- Minimum 2 years of overall acute care experience, with at least 1 year in PCU
- Current BLS and ACLS certification
- Strong skills in telemetry, IV therapy, blood product administration, and dysrhythmia interpretation
- Preferred: ONS Chemo Certification, NIHSS
