What You’ll Do:
- Provide anesthesia support for approximately 3,000 OR cases and 3,000 endoscopy procedures annually
- Cover OB anesthesia and assist in various surgical and endoscopic procedures
- Support a patient population of all ages, with an emphasis on geriatric fractures, urology, general surgery, advanced breast cancer surgery, and total joint procedures
- Collaborate closely with CRNAs and nurses during daytime shifts and scheduled night calls
- Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures
- Manage anesthesia care efficiently in a hospital unit with 87 beds
- Maintain compliance with all medical and safety protocols
What You Need:
Required:
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Anesthesiology
- Current OB anesthesia experience
- AZ medical license or IMLC Letter of Qualification
- DEA license
- BLS certification
Preferred:
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

This contract position involves supporting a busy hospital department performing a wide range of anesthesia procedures, including OB, general surgery, urology, and endoscopy.
