Vascular Surgery APP Locums Job in California | Ongoing Work Starting Soon!
Details/Requirements:
*Board Certification required
*Active California medical license required
*Fluoroscopy license not required
*Outpatient coverage only
*Average 12-16 patients seen per shift
*60 day credentialing - targeting October start
*Three month assignment commitment to start
*Seeking a minimum 1-week commitment per month; flexible

Typical in-Office Procedures:
--Arterial Interventions: Balloon angioplasty, stenting, and atherectomy to open narrowed leg arteries caused by peripheral artery disease (PAD)
--Venous Treatments: Endovenous radiofrequency or laser ablation, venograms, and sclerotherapy to treat varicose veins and chronic venous insufficiency.
--Dialysis Access Maintenance: Fistulograms, declotting procedures, and the placement or replacement of temporary and permanent dialysis catheters (Permcath).
--Other Minor Surgeries: Temporal artery biopsies and subcutaneous port placements for long-term intravenous access.
