Jackson and Coker is currently seeking an experienced Cardiothoracic Surgery Advanced Practice Provider (APP) for a premier locum tenens assignment. Partner with a leading not-for-profit health system to support a high-volume cardiovascular surgery program. This assignment offers a predictable schedule within a highly collaborative and well-supported environment.

Details/Requirements #116419:
--Graduate of an accredited Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) program
--Active Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
--Minimum 1–2 years of cardiothoracic or cardiovascular surgery experience (strongly preferred)
--Endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH) experience (required)
--Surgical: Serve as First Assist in cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgical procedures.
--Procedural: Perform Endoscopic Vein Harvesting (EVH).
--Inpatient: Round on patients pre- and post-surgery and manage inpatient care.
--Outpatient: Conduct follow-up visits in a clinical setting.
--Weekly Schedule: One dedicated clinic day per week, with the remainder of the week focused heavily in the OR.
--Call Rotation: Shared 1:3 call rotation.
--Coverage Blocks: Predictable week-long (7-day) coverage blocks designed to support work-life balance.
--Call Duties: Inpatient management and surgical coverage, backed by excellent team support.
--EMR: Epic
