CT Surgery Inpatient NP/PA  Locums Job in Southeastern Virginia | Seeking One Week per Month of OR + Floor Coverage | EVH Required

Jackson & Coker is partnered with a facility near the Virginia Beach coast that needs at CT Surgery specialized NP or PA to assist with one week per month of locums coverage starting as soon as possible (mid-August as an expected start period) and ongoing. The client is needing a provider that can work as 1st assist in the OR/who does EVH, and is comfortable rounding in the ICU when not in the OR.

Scheduling needs: 
* Seeking 1 week per month starting in mid-August & ongoing
* Open to M-F coverage only and/or Monday - Sunday
* Estimated hours are 7A-5P Monday - Friday (night call is TBD)

Details for assignment #115820:
- Seeking candidates with an active & unrestricted Virginia Medical License + DEA
- Must have experience and case logs reflecting your work in CT Surgery/EVH 
- Will work alongside one surgeon on call at at time (2-3 Surgeons working at the facility total)
- Two to three other CT Surgery Advanced Clinicians 
- Seeing mid-low volumes currently and anticipate 1-6 cases each Monday-Friday
- Duties: comprehensive care of complex CT Surgery pre- and post-operative surgical patients, post-op management, patient assessment, treatment planning, diagnostic ordering/interpreting, medication management, bedside procedures within scope, patient education and discharge, documentation
- Will be required to round in the ICU / see ED consults
- Epic EMR inpatient, Cerner outpatient, located in southeast Virginia, 295+ bed facility, not a designated trauma facility
