Orthopedic Trauma Surgery PA Locums Job in South Carolina | Various Shifts + Call | Beginning ASAP – Ongoing | Assignment #116112
Coverage Details
-- Beginning ASAP – ongoing
-- 6am to 2pm, 6a to 6p, 6pm to 6am WEEKDAY AND WEEKENDS
-- Credentialing tied to committee schedule with final approval on the 3rd Tuesday of each month
Shift Description
-- Orthopedic trauma surgery hospital coverage
-- Responsibilities include OR coverage, ICU coverage, hospital rounding, consults, post-operative visits, and ED support
-- Average patient volume: approximately 20 patients per day
-- No clinic responsibilities
Call Details
-- First-call coverage required
-- Must be comfortable taking call independently
-- Overnight call responsibilities included
-- Weekend 24-hour call coverage required
Requirements
-- Active South Carolina license required
-- ACLS or ATLS certification required
-- South Carolina DEA and CDS required
-- Orthopedic trauma first-call experience required
-- Independent call coverage experience required
