What You’ll Do
- Provide expert nursing care to neonatal patients utilizing the Nursing Process
- Assess patient needs and implement individualized care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality outcomes
- Communicate effectively with families, staff, and healthcare team members
- Delegate tasks appropriately to licensed and ancillary team members
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
- Support unit and organizational goals through professional practice and leadership
What You Need
Required:
- Valid Louisiana RN license
- 2+ years of NICU or relevant neonatal patient care experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Good judgment and self-direction
Preferred:
- Neonatal Resuscitation Certification (NRP)
- Additional certification in a clinical specialty area
