What You’ll Do:
- Provide high-quality nursing care in the operating room environment for surgical patients
- Assist in preoperative assessments and ensure patient safety and comfort
- Collaborate with surgical teams to prepare and maintain sterile environments
- Monitor patient vital signs, respond to emergencies, and support anesthesia management
- Document patient care activities accurately and promptly
- Follow all safety protocols and regulatory standards
- Support unit and department goals through teamwork and professional accountability
What You Need:
- Required:
- Valid RN license in Louisiana
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- ACLS certification (from American Heart Association)
- Proven experience in the operating room or surgical nursing
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Preferred:
- Leadership or supervisory experience in OR settings
- Basic computer skills
