What You’ll Do
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Operating Room and related units
- Assist with surgical procedures, including C-sections, PACU, and Endoscopy
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams ensuring safety and quality standards
- Adapt to emergency team assignments when required
- Document care activities in Epic system
- Respond promptly to call-outs during on-call shifts
- Support the unit’s daily operations and patient needs
What You Need
Required:
- Valid RN license in Louisiana
- Minimum 1 year experience in OR settings
- Epic EMR experience
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
- Ability to work day shifts and respond to call-outs within 30 minutes
Preferred:
- Experience in rural hospital settings
- Flexibility to float to other departments as needed
