What You’ll Do
- Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in the Medical/Surgical units
- Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments, developing personalized care plans
- Reassess patient status regularly, adjusting care strategies accordingly
- Document interventions and patient responses promptly and accurately
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge instructions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in unit activities and contribute to a positive working environment
What You Need
Required:
- Current New Mexico RN license or Compact State license
- BLS certification via AHA
- At least 2 years of RN experience in a clinical setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred:
- Experience in Medical/Surgical nursing
- Ability to float across departments as needed
- Knowledge of EPIC EMR system
