Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA)

Pay Rate: $97.00 - $105.00
This facility is seeking a Hospital Medicine Advanced Practice Provider (APP) for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.
Details and requirements for this opportunity:
- Schedule: Open blocks of 3-5 days; typical week-on/week-off schedule. Day shifts only, 6:00 AM-3:00 PM. No call required.
- Total census per provider per shift: Approximately 10-12 patients rounded on per day; facility census 25-35.
- Procedures required: None.
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Not specified; EMR training provided during orientation.
- Support: Well-staffed support team.
- Certifications and license required: Licensed Advanced Practice Provider required. Hospital Medicine experience preferred.
- Credentialing timeframe: Not specified. Facility may advocate for emergency privileges if needed.
- Additional Details: 45-bed hospital serving an elderly patient population; approximately 10 admissions and 2 consults per day. No intensive care unit rounding, no ventilator management, and no trauma cases. Low to medium acuity.
- HBS requires case logs of at least 2 current years for a provider to credential for HM - MD, HM - APP, EM - MD and EM - APP positions
