JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine (ABEM, ABIM, ABFM)
  
• Licenses: Active WA medical license, DEA with WA address
  
• DEA / CDS: Active DEA with WA address and CDS (Schedules 2-5)
  
• Certifications: ATLS, BLS, PALS; ACLS required for IM/FM candidates
  
• Experience: Prior Emergency Medicine experience required; active ED practice within past 12 months
  
• Other Qualifications: Immunizations required (Tdap, Hep B, MMR, Varicella, flu, COVID); case logs may be requested; malpractice coverage $1M/$3M
  

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide clinical leadership and oversight for the Emergency Department.
  
• Deliver high-quality emergency medical care to patients in a critical access hospital setting.
  
• Collaborate with hospital leadership and clinical teams to ensure operational excellence.
  
• Support departmental growth and innovation through physician engagement.
  
• Independently manage a wide range of emergency presentations and perform DOP-listed procedures.
