"Maternal-Fetal Medicine PhysicianAssignment Details Location: Michigan Provider Type: Physician Specialty: Maternal-Fetal Medicine Practice Setting: Inpatient / Outpatient Coverage Start Date: January 1, 2027 Full-Time Coverage Needed Through Approximately January 24, 2027 Part-Time Recurring Coverage Anticipated After January Locum-to-Permanent Candidates Welcome Level III NICU Compensation: Hourly - $325/hr Overtime - $485/hr Night Call - $510/shift 24 Hour On Call - $3116 per 24 hours Call Back - $485/hr Schedule Monday-Friday In-House Coverage: 8:00 AM-6:00 PM Nightly Weekday Call Coverage 24-Hour Weekend Call Coverage Including Phone Consults After January: Anticipated Coverage Approximately Twice Monthly • In-House Thursday-Friday • Call Saturday-Sunday Call Back Volume Is Minimal, Approximately 1 Per Call Shift If Any
Clinical Details Inpatient MFM Volume: Approximately 0-5 Patients Per Day, Average 2 Approximately 3,000 Deliveries Annually MFM Service Supports High- and Low-Risk Obstetric Patients Review and Round on Inpatient MFM Patients with Residents Provide Inpatient Consultations Provide Phone Consultations and In-Person Evaluations When Clinically Needed Interpret and Manage Ultrasound Services and Related Consultations Ultrasound Interpretation Is Required Potential Outpatient Coverage at an Additional Location as Needed Outpatient Coverage May Include Tuesday/Thursday Half Days 1 Sonographer 1 Ultrasound Machine Up to 8 Ultrasounds Per Day High-Risk Resident Clinic: Half-Day Per Week High-Risk Clinic Volume: Approximately 4-7 Patients Supervise Residents in High-Risk OB Clinic as Needed No Delivery Coverage No GYN Surgery No GYN Call Coverage Required Procedures Amniocentesis Cerclage, Including Rescue Cerclage External Cephalic Version (ECV) Preferred Procedures Chorionic Villus Sampling (CVS) Requirements Board Certified - Required Michigan License or IMLC - Required BLS - Required ACLS - Required Must Be Able to Perform All Required Procedures At Least 2 Years of Clinical Experience in Maternal-Fetal Medicine - Required Any Malpractice or Background Issues Must Be Disclosed at Submission Credentialing Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 90-120 Days"
