What You’ll Do
- Provide direct nursing care in a Medical/Surgical unit, demonstrating independence and clinical competence
- Adhere to ANA scope and standards, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
- Administer medications and treatments, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness
- Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided in EPIC EMR
- Educate patients and families on care plans and health management
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Float across Medical and Surgical departments as needed, providing adaptable and comprehensive care
What You Need
Required:
- Valid BLS certification (AHA)
- RN license in state of employment or compact license
- Minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience preferred
Preferred:
- Experience in Medical/Surgical nursing
- Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills
