What You’ll Do
- Provide advanced nursing support for urgent cardiothoracic surgeries from cath lab to recovery
- Support surgical team during patient procedures and post-operative recovery
- Assist with vein harvesting procedures and other specialized interventions
- Collaborate with surgeons and staff to ensure optimal patient care
- Support ICU and step-down units with patient management and rounds
- Respond to after-hours call and callbacks as needed, averaging 4 hours daily
- Document patient interactions and procedures efficiently using EPIC EMR
What You Need
Required:
- Valid PA nursing license and DEA registration
- At least 3 years of relevant clinical experience in cardiothoracic or acute care settings
- Ability to work 24-hour shifts, including on-call responsibilities
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred:
- Experience with vein harvesting or cardiothoracic procedures
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospital environment

You will work closely with a dedicated surgeon team, supporting patients from the cath lab to recovery, ensuring smooth perioperative care.
