What You’ll Do
- Provide direct patient care in a Cardiac ICU setting for adult patients
- Monitor patients’ cardiac and respiratory status using telemetry and advanced equipment
- Administer IV medications, sedation, and assist with procedures such as Swan-Ganz catheter placements and balloon pumps
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Ensure patient safety by maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to protocols
- Float within units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed
- Manage patient ratios averaging 1:1 or 1:2 during shifts
What You Need
Required:
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- BLS & ACLS certifications
- Proficiency in IV starts, telemetry, vents, Swan-Ganz, conscious sedation, balloon pumps, and PA lines
- Epic experience
Preferred:
- 2+ years of ICU experience, particularly in cardiac or travel settings
- Previous travel nursing experience
