What You’ll Do
- Provide high-quality emergency care to patients in a fast-paced ER environment
- Manage a patient ratio of 1:3, ensuring effective and compassionate treatment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and participate in emergency response efforts
- Utilize Epic EMR system for accurate documentation and patient tracking
- Adapt to potential floating to other floors as needed
- Support weekend coverage every other week
- Respond to emergency events and be prepared to be assigned to emergency or relief teams as needed
What You Need
Required:
- Valid RN license in Louisiana or a compact state
- Minimum 2 years ER nursing experience
- Epic EMR experience
- Certifications: ACLS, PALS, CPI, BLS, TNCC
Preferred:
- Experience in emergency response team deployment
- Flexibility to work night shifts and weekends
