What You’ll Do
- Provide high-acuity ICU patient care, including post-op CABG, valve surgery, aortic dissection, and transplant recovery.
- Monitor and manage PA catheters, balloon pumps, and other advanced devices.
- Maintain patient stability and safety during critical phases of recovery.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Adapt to float requirements across ICUs and Step-Down Units.
- Follow established protocols for RRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy).
- Document patient care accurately and comprehensively.
What You Need
Required:
- Valid RN license in Louisiana or eligible for Louisiana licensure
- ACLS, BLS, NIH certifications
- Minimum of 2 years ICU or SICU experience
- Epic experience preferred
Preferred:
- Experience with PA catheters, balloon pumps, and transplant recovery
- Ability to handle high-acuity patients in a fast-paced environment
