What You’ll Do
- Provide specialized nursing care to oncology patients in an outpatient infusion setting
- Administer IV medications including antibiotics, antifungals, steroids, and specialty therapies
- Maintain and manage central lines and PICC lines
- Educate patients on self-administration of medications and infusion procedures
- Monitor patient responses to therapies and ensure safety protocols
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for patient care planning
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards
What You Need
Required:
- NY Temporary Health Care Service Agency License or Registration Certificate
- Valid RN license for New York
- BLS certification
- Minimum of 1 year RN experience, ideally within oncology or infusion services
Preferred:
- Experience with infusion therapies and central line management
- Strong patient education skills
- Knowledge of hospital protocols and safety standards
