What You’ll Do
- Provide anesthesiology services in outpatient settings, supporting staff with CRNAs
- Manage anesthesia for a variety of outpatient procedures across multiple specialties (excluding cardiac and OB)
- Support outpatient cases for patients of all ages, including some cases for infants (age 1+ typically)
- Perform medical directing duties while also handling your own cases
- Administer anesthesia with specialty in ortho blocks—much of the work involves this specialization
- Document care efficiently using EPIC EMR system
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safe, effective anesthesia administration
What You Need
Required:
- Board Certification in Anesthesiology (must be certified; no BEs accepted)
- PA license or IMLC LOQ
- DEA registration
- Certifications in PALS, ACLS, BLS
- At least 2+ years of anesthesia experience (preferred)
Preferred:
- Extensive experience with orthopedic blocks
