Otolaryngology (ENT) Physician – Ephrata, PA

- Shift: Clinic hours 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (30-minute lunch), plus 24-hour call 7:30 AM – 3:30/4:00 PM
- Schedule: 5 OR days/month, 7 clinic days/month, including holidays
- Patients per day: approximately 26–27 in clinic, 6 surgeries
- Hours/week: 40

What You’ll Do:
- Provide outpatient ENT consultations for patients of all ages
- Support surgical procedures in the clinic and OR settings, including general ENT and parathyroid procedures
- Collaborate with support staff to ensure high-quality patient care
- Manage pre- and post-operative care for ENT surgery patients
- Participate in 24-hour call coverage with minimal callback (0-2 hours)
- Utilize EPIC EMR system for documentation and patient management
- Support staff in delivering comprehensive ENT services, including general procedures and outpatient surgeries
What You Need:
Required:
- Board Certification or Board Eligible in Otolaryngology
- PA license or IMLC license
- DEA license
- ACLS certification
- At least 1 year of relevant experience
Preferred:
- Comfort with parathyroid procedures
- Experience with Cochlear Baha and other general ENT procedures
About the Assignment:
This position involves providing outpatient ENT care within a multidisciplinary clinic and hospital environment. The role includes performing general ENT procedures, managing a diverse patient population across all ages, and supporting surgical needs both in the clinic and operating room. You will work with a dedicated team of medical assistants and clinical support staff utilizing the EPIC electronic health record system.
