What You’ll Do
- Provide electrophysiology consultation and procedures including pacemaker and ICD implants, loop recorder explantation, and ablations (AVN, SVT, AFLUTTER)
- Support outpatient and inpatient cardiac electrophysiology services utilizing EPIC EMR system
- Collaborate with clinical team and APPs to deliver patient-centered care for adults aged 18-100
- Conduct procedures such as pacemaker/ICD implantations and electrophysiology testing
- Participate in coverage up to 40 hours per week for vacation coverage and occasional patient needs
- Support a high patient volume with approximately 16 outpatient and 10–15 inpatient patients daily
What You Need
Required:
- Active PA medical license and DEA
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Cardiology/Electrophysiology
- Active ACLS/BLS certifications
- Experience in electrophysiology procedures and patient management
Preferred:
- Prior experience with pacemaker and ICD implantation
- Skills in electrophysiology testing and ablation procedures
- Experience working in hospital, clinic, or academic settings
About the Assignment
This assignment is based at a prominent hospital with 270 beds in Chambersburg, PA, within the electrophysiology department. You will support a diverse adult patient population, performing advanced cardiac procedures in a well-equipped setting supported by EPIC EMR.
