Coverage Details
- - November 11 (7a) – November 15 (7a)
- - Credentialing timeframe: 60–90 days depending on completion of credentialing forms
Shift Details
- - Daily rounding on an inpatient acute rehabilitation unit
- - Approximately 6 hours of rounding per day
- - 24-hour call coverage
- - Night and weekend call coverage
- - Schedule: November 11 at 7:00 AM – November 15 at 7:00 AM
Requirements
- - PM&R Board Certified or Eligible - Highly Preferred
- - Nebraska license or IMLC - Highly Preferred
- - Residency trained PM&R - Required
- - BLS, DEA - Required
- - Clean malpractice history - Highly Preferred
- Local provider - Highly Preferred
Assignment Details
- - Acute rehabilitation unit within an acute care hospital
- - Daily rounding for a 13-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit
- - Night and weekend call coverage
- - No outpatient clinic responsibilities
- - Calls are typically managed by telephone
- - Return trips to the facility after hours are very rare
- - Supported by inpatient hospital staff
- - Coverage needed due to provider vacation
- - Average of 1–2 admissions and discharges per day
- - Patient population includes a wide variety of rehabilitation cases
- - Facility accepts most patients who qualify for inpatient rehabilitation except high spinal cord injuries and patients requiring ventilator support
