Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner Locums Job in Kentucky | Ongoing and Easy Airport Access

An acute care hospital is urgently seeking a part-time Cardiothoracic Advanced Practice Provider to provide critical coverage due to a provider leave. You will join an established team of three cardiac surgeons and three PAs.

Assignment Overview
--Start Date: ASAP (ongoing)
--Schedule Options: Day shifts (OR/Clinic, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM), weeknight call, and 24-hour weekend call.
--Volume: Estimated 8 shifts per month.
--Call Responsibilities: First call; weekend call includes rounding at two local affiliated facilities.
--Patient Scope: 100% Adult.
--EMR: Epic

Clinical Requirements
--Experience: Minimum 3 years required.
--Skills & Procedures: Vein harvesting, hybrid ablations, and bread-and-butter CT surgery. First assisting surgeons in the OR.
--Certifications: ACLS required.
--Credentials: APP (DNP, NP, PA). Board certification and active state license are not required to apply.

--Privileging: Temporary and full privileges are available to expedite onboarding.
--Location Preferences: No strict geographic restrictions; drive-in candidates are preferred.
