Description
We are seeking an Internal Medicine Physician for a 181-day assignment in New Mexico, starting Nov 26, 2026. This role involves 24-hour call shifts from 7a-7a, focusing on acute patient care in the Emergency Department. The physician will manage a diverse range of pulmonary and critical care cases, including asthma, COPD, respiratory failure, pneumonia, pulmonary embolism, and hypertension.
Responsibilities and Duties - Manage cases involving asthma and COPD
- Address respiratory failure
- Treat pneumonia
- Handle pulmonary embolism and hypertension
Additional Information - Board Certifications: Critical Care Medicine, Pulmonary Disease
- EMR system: Medhost
- Patient volume: Approximately 15-25 patients per shift
