What You’ll Do
- Evaluate and manage adult and geriatric outpatient neurology patients
- Diagnose and treat common neurological conditions such as headache, seizures, neuropathy, movement disorders, and cognitive issues
- Review diagnostic imaging, lab results, and outside medical records
- Order appropriate tests and manage medications effectively
- Collaborate with primary care providers and members of the neuroscience team
- Complete accurate documentation, follow up on test results, and respond to patient messages promptly
- Rotate among outpatient clinics in Egg Harbor Township, Hammonton, and Atlantic City based on operational needs
What You Need
- Active, unrestricted New Jersey Medical License
- DEA and NJ CDS registration
- BLS certification
- 1+ years of outpatient neurology experience (preferred)
- Ability to work comfortably across multiple practice locations
- Strong communication, clinical judgment, and teamwork skills
About the Assignment
This position offers outpatient neurology care across several facilities in southern New Jersey, supporting a busy and expanding neuroscience program. Providers will be responsible for managing a diverse adult and geriatric patient population, with scheduled rotations aligned with operational needs. The role emphasizes independence in outpatient management, providing continuity of care in a collaborative environment, without inpatient or call responsibilities.
