What You’ll Do
- Provide routine emergency care for diverse patient populations.
- Manage codes and acute emergencies within the ER setting.
- Perform evaluations with EMR system (EPIC), utilizing Dragon for dictation.
- Collaborate with support staff for patient transfers and coverage needs.
- Conduct assessments for a high-volume ER (approximately 22,000 annual visits).
- Contribute to a team working across multiple shifts with a supportive environment.
What You Need
Required:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
- Active Iowa medical license and DEA registration
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
- Recent practice experience as an Emergency Medicine Physician (12+ months) or recent residency completion
Preferred:
- Prior experience in a busy ER environment
- Ability to handle diverse emergency cases efficiently
