What You’ll Do:
- Provide advanced support in urgent cardiothoracic surgeries, including vein harvesting and other complex procedures
- Support emergency surgeries from cath lab to post-op care for patients aged 18 and older
- Assist surgeons with pre-operative and post-operative patient care and procedures
- Participate in on-call coverage, with approximately 4 hours of callback per day for 3 weekends each month
- Collaborate with a dedicated team of advanced practice providers and hospital staff
- Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record system for documentation and patient management
- Support patients through the continuum of urgent cardiac care and recovery
What You Need:
- PA License and DEA registration required
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant cardiothoracic or critical care experience
- Strong clinical skills in supporting urgent and intraoperative procedures
- Ability to work night shifts and weekend call coverage
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
