What You’ll Do
- Provide direct patient care in Oncology, managing patients with solid tumor cancers including breast, lung, prostate, pancreatic, and colon cancers
- Administer chemotherapy and other treatments as prescribed
- Monitor telemetry readings, interpret data, and respond to patient needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care across the cancer journey
- Follow infection prevention protocols and patient safety standards
- Assist with transition to end-of-life care when necessary
- Document patient care accurately using electronic medical records such as Epic
What You Need
Required:
- Active Ohio RN License
- BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years recent MedSurg or Oncology RN experience
- Strong telemetry interpretation skills
Preferred:
- ONS Chemotherapy Certification
- Prior travel or agency nursing experience
- Ability to float to other MedSurg Oncology units as needed
