What You’ll Do
- Provide high-quality, compassionate care to oncology and telemetry patients, including pediatric cases.
- Monitor patients using GE telemetry systems and respond to abnormal rhythms.
- Administer medications, including chemotherapy, and manage IV therapy and access devices.
- Maintain infection control protocols and ensure patient safety through fall prevention.
- Assist with procedures such as blood product administration, chest tube management, and tracheostomy upkeep.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
- Document accurately and adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
What You Need
- Required:
- Ohio RN license
- 2+ years of acute care experience, including?1 year in PCU or telemetry
- BCLS, ACLS, NIH certifications
- Proficiency in dysrhythmia interpretation, IV management, and monitoring
- Preferred:
- Experience with chemotherapy administration and wound care
- Knowledge of arterial lines and non-invasive airway management
- Previous travel or agency experience

Join a high-acuity Oncology Telemetry unit at a leading facility in Columbus, Ohio. The unit features 36 beds, with over 24 dedicated to PCU patients—primarily adult oncology cases with rare pediatric cases. You’ll care for patients with solid tumors, orthopedic, and thoracic cancers, providing expert telemetry monitoring and support.
