JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Board: BC/BE
- Licenses: Active IN license
- DEA: Active DEA
- Certification: BLS
- No paid or pending malpractice claims; No actions reported on NPDB
- Gaps of less than 6 months
- Able to provide 3-4 professional references
- Fellowship: Required
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient oncology and hematology care in clinic setting Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Manage hospital consults during call weeks, including new patient consultations and rounding on existing patients.
- Participate in call rotation every 4th or 5th week, providing coverage weekdays and weekends for emergent consults.
- Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners who round on existing patients, ensuring continuity of care.
- Adhere to 60-day notification for agreement cancellation and 45-day advanced notice for PTO to maintain staffing continuity.
