What You’ll Do
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess patient physical and cognitive abilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with patient and family involvement
- Document patient evaluations, progress, and discharge summaries accurately
- Participate in patient care, family, and departmental meetings
- Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge procedures
- Supervise clinical staff including students, volunteers, and rehab technicians
- Support department operations through orientation, scheduling, and quality assurance
What You Need
Required:
- Current New Mexico Physical Therapist licensure
- BLS certification from AHA
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Experience in inpatient rehab/acute care settings preferred
Preferred:
- Supervisory experience
- Strong communication and clinical skills
- Ability to adapt care to diverse patient populations
