Registered Nurse – PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) – Shreveport, LA

Pay & Benefits:
- Pay Rate: $53.60/hour

What You’ll Do:
- Provide direct patient care in the PACU following physician and hospital protocols
- Monitor patient recovery from anesthesia, documenting vital signs and observations
- Administer medications and interventions as prescribed to ensure patient safety and comfort
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and communicate patient needs
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records throughout the recovery process
- Adhere to all safety and infection control policies and procedures
- Assist with emergency response and patient stabilization as needed
What You Need:
Required:
- Valid RN license in Louisiana or relevant state
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years recent PACU or critical care experience
Preferred:
- Experience in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and handle emergency situations
