What You’ll Do
- Provide acute care to emergency room patients during night shifts
- Conduct initial patient assessments and establish priorities based on age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs
- Re-assess patients regularly to monitor progress and trends
- Develop and implement individualized, measurable care plans
- Perform timely interventions and document all clinical activities
- Participate in health education and discharge planning for patients and their families
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure patient safety and quality care
- Adapt to flexible locations as needed during low census times (helping hands)
What You Need
- Current RN license in New Mexico or a valid Compact state license
- Certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
- Minimum of 2 years ER experience preferred; new grads considered at CN I level
- Strong clinical skills with excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work a 12-hour night shift in a fast-paced environment
