What You’ll Do
- Conduct mental health screenings and assessments based on records and clinical interviews
- Develop, implement, and modify individual treatment plans tailored to inmate needs
- Document all treatment and evaluation activities accurately in health records
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information at all times
- Apply psychological counseling techniques and crisis intervention strategies
- Provide appropriate mental health assessments and counseling services
- Support inmates’ mental health needs within a correctional environment
What You Need
Required:
- State licensure as a mental health professional
- U.S. Citizenship due to facility clearance requirements
- Experience in mental health assessments, counseling, and crisis intervention
Preferred:
- Prior experience working in correctional or institutional settings
- Knowledge of mental health treatment plans and documentation standards
