What You’ll Do
- Perform comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess physical and cognitive abilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and families
- Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately
- Participate in patient care conferences, family meetings, and departmental activities
- Counsel patients and families regarding evaluation, care, and discharge planning
- Assist in supervising and coordinating student and volunteer programs
- Support departmental operations, including scheduling, orientation, and performance improvement activities
- Maintain adherence to hospital policies and community resources to facilitate successful patient outcomes
What You Need
- Valid Physical Therapist licensure for New Mexico
- BLS certification through AHA
- Ability to perform patient assessments and develop care plans
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Willingness to support performance improvement initiatives and community outreach
