What You’ll Do
- Provide rehabilitative and medically necessary treatments under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
- Conduct assessments of patient progress and communicate adjustments to care plans accordingly
- Administer procedures such as ADL retraining, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and assistive device use
- Document all treatment activities accurately in electronic health records
- Support and supervise students when assigned
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes
- Participate in care conferences, meetings, and training sessions as required
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and professional standards
What You Need
- Active State Licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
- Knowledge of occupational therapy practices, documentation, and patient assessment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
- Commitment to patient-centered care and adherence to ethical standards
