- Facility: An Urgent Care Clinic
- Schedule: Dates: ASAP - Ongoing
- 12 hour shifts; 8:00am-8:00pm
- 3 days a week
- No Call
- Assignment: Outpatient
- Census: 25-50 patients per day
- Required Duties: Laceration Repair: Simple, intermediate, and complex suturing or stapling, Incision and drainage (I&D): including packing, Foreign Body Removal, Minor Burn Management, Skin Lesion Care, Orthopedic & Injury Stabilization, Splinting & Casting, Joint Reduction, Diagnostic & Point-of-Care Testing, X-Ray Interpretation, Electrocardiogram (EKG): Evaluation, Point-of-Care Lab Interpretation: Reviewing rapid strep, flu, COVID-19, RSV, urinalysis, and blood glucose testing, Epistaxis Management: Anterior nasal packing or chemical cautery (silver nitrate) for nosebleeds, Cerumen impaction removal, Airway Support: Administration of nebulizer treatments and initial emergency stabilization.
