Emergency Room RN – Topeka, KS | Level 2 Trauma Center | 13-14 Week Contract

- Shift: 3 pm or 7 pm shifts
- Hours/Week: 36 guaranteed hours
- Employment Type: Contract
- Certifications: Kansas RN license or multistate license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, MOAB/CPI (must be current at time of application; AHA certifications required)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years ER experience, 4+ preferred, no first-time travelers
- EMR: Epic experience preferred
Pay & Benefits:
- Hourly Rate: $62.31/hr

What You’ll Do:
- Provide exceptional emergency care in a busy Level 2 trauma center
- Manage a 34-bed ED, working within a fast-paced environment with no patient-to-staff ratios
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-focused care
- Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and orders
- Maintain compliance with hospital and department protocols
- Support weekend and holiday rotations as scheduled
- Float between departments as needed (TBD)
What You Need:
- Valid Kansas RN license or multistate license
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, and MOAB/CPI certifications (must be attached at submission)
- Minimum 2 years ER experience; 4+ years preferred
- Strong clinical skills and ability to adapt quickly
- Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities
