What You’ll Do
- Provide high-quality telemetry nursing care to medical, surgical, oncology, and leukemia patients
- Administer medications, IV starts, and port access
- Monitor patient vitals and interpret telemetry data
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including providers, therapists, and support staff
- Support patient comfort and safety in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Follow all hospital protocols and safety standards
- Document care accurately using EMR systems and equipment
What You Need
Required:
- Valid RN license for Louisiana or appropriate state license with multi-state compact (if applicable)
- 2+ years of recent acute care RN experience
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
- Ability to pass EKG competency exam
- Strong medication, IV, port, and infection control skills
Preferred:
- Oncology or telemetry experience
- Experience with Meditech EMR and IV pumps
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
